Scarlett Gypsy, (Almost) New Band Alert

Thanks to the power of Twitter, the guys in Scarlett Gypsy tweeted me, alerting me of their existence. The band just released the album All Access and "Is This Love" is the first single. I gotta say, it's not the most produced song I've ever heard, but it sure is Glam. There's good reason: the band started back in 1991, but we all know what happened in the early 90s. A couple decades later, the band is finally getting their shot. Watch. You know what to do.

Rock on boys! Best of luck.
Liked the song. Very Winger-ish. Video was fun. One observation; the shots with that awesome light rig never had the band. When the band was featured; it was in front of the standard club lighting. Nevertheless, fly the flag and enjoy!

Wow, I'm not sure what to say here. I know their heart's in the right place, but, strictly judging from that one song, I am very underwhelmed. Look, I know glam lyrics aren't supposed to be the second coming of Shakespeare, but how many times do I have to hear "Walking down the street" rhymed with "From her head to her feet?" with lyrics that boring, the singer had better have a set of pipes which, sadly, this singer does not. 1991 was really the last full good year for mainstream acceptance of this type of music, but these guys wouldn't have been able to cut it with underwhelming songs like this one. That said, I commend any glam band who wants to take a shot in 2014 so I wish them success.

Bands lime this are the reason the 80s died in the first place, just bad.

Phew, gotta say, as big of a comedy as this is, you are absolutely 110% correct, Glam Rocker Arch!

This even gives HAIR METAL a bad name!

I wonder what concert all those people were really at, it certainly wasn't one put on by these guys.
