First Annual Frontiers Rock Holiday Bash Planned

From my inbox:

HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 19, 2017) – Frontiers Music SRL is proud to announce their first-ever U.S. Showcase at Southern California’s premiere rock club: The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, Ca. – Hosted by the Metal Maniac himself: Eddie Trunk of SiriusXM & That Metal Show!

Kick-off your holidays with rocks’ icons L.A. GUNS (featuring the reunion of Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis), WARRANTJack Russell's Great White, and the Riverdogsfeaturing Def Leppard and Last In Line guitarist Vivian Campbell with very special guest host, Mr. Eddie Trunk! “So many of the bands on Frontiers are longtime friends and regulars on my radio and TV shows, so I’m looking forward to hosting this special holiday party on December 2nd with a bunch of great bands and fans!” says Trunk.

General admission tickets are just $30 to see all these great bands, with a limited amount of additional VIP seats just released after the initial allotment sold out.

After a 15-year break, Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis have reunited in L.A. Guns and have been touring non-stop in support of their critically-acclaimed new album, "The Missing Peace", which was released October 13th on CD/LP/Digital via Frontiers.

WARRANT was formed in LA in 1984 and became one of the most popular hard rock bands of the early '90s with huge selling albums and songs that have maintained their popularity throughout the decades. Warrant, with original members Erik Turner, Jerry Dixon, Steven Sweet, and Joey Allen joined by vocalist Robert Mason, are currently touring in support of their latest release, "Louder Harder Faster", which is out now on Frontiers.

Jack Russell’s Great White has been touring extensively, promoting their new record "He Saw it Comin'" which was released by Frontiers this past January. Russell has one of the most distinctive voices in rock ’n' roll and this album harkens back to the classic blues rock style he is known for.

RIVERDOGS reunited last year to record their first new album with Vivian Campbell (ex-Whitesnake, Def Leppard) in ten years. This is the band's first announced live show with Campbell in over two decades! A special event not to be missed. "California" was released this past July on CD/LP/Digital via Frontiers.

No issue with the event or the lineup (or the price). What I will note is this little nugget of PR brilliance:

Founded by Serafino Perugino, Frontiers Music Srl was born in 1996 and is widely recognized as a premiere record label known for delivering quality rock music to fans around the globe.

I give them credit for not claiming to be "the" premiere label. But what a letdown: just "a" premiere one? Come on, you can do better. Oh, but they do. They deliver music to fans globally. You know what? So does a guy who posts his video on YouTube. But wait, is it quality you say? Whose to know? That is largely an opinion, right?

I guess I get bored of boilerplate pronouncements. Say that you keep old greats alive (Babylon A.D.) and keep some once-weres (Rough Tate) in the mix. Or, hell, just repeat the stuff you say on your own damn website:

If you aren't going to be creative, at least capture something. Remember: we are your audience. Tell us why to care. Frontiers releases a lot of good stuff. This announcement makes them sound like they are a bargain bin with the punch-holes already in the product.
