Kids React To Motley Crue

Kids react to Motley Crue... while Tommy Lee watches. I love that Tommy Lee calls out the "hipster kid." And Tommy is right: the young kids seem very mature. This is a fun 8 minute watch and listen. Enjoy and happy Saturday!

Gotta love Tommy's reactions. Funny part is those kids are most likely right around the same maturity level as him. I don't mean that in a bad way. I've said on here a million times that he's the worlds oldest teenager. And in most cases it's good to be young at heart. (Now get back behind the kit and play like you're 25 again bud,and drop the techno nonsense.) 🤘

Priceless!

When I met him, he was just like this ... Nice guy ... Totally engaged ... It was August 2007, right after Crüe opened for Aerosmith at Jones Beach. While the stage crew was packing up, he crouched at the edge of the stage offering us swigs off his bottle of Jaeger, accompanied by a "stage hand".

He was very genuine and conversational as he was asking us how we liked the show and where we were from, etc., etc. if I'm not mistaken this was not long after one of his stints in therapy and rehab.

Of course, his openness also probably had something to do with the fact that I had two hot blonde twin sisters on either side of me during the show (Mars was also leering at my chick -- hey, who can blame him -- like I said, they were hot) and now talking to him, a situation he created to get a closer look.

Come to think of it, his first words were, "Hey guys... Come over here ... Howzit going? ... Wanna shot of Jaeger?", which the girls, practically speechless declined. Naturally, I took a swig, which he didn't seem to mind. As I said, he asked us what we thought of the show and we all told him it was great.

What I really should have told him is it was great except for Sixx mailing it in, literally going through the motions pacing back and forth on the stage like a robot as if he wanted to look at his watch on his way to punching the clock, dying for the show to be over.

But I kept it to the polite and profunctory answer. And with that, he was whisked off the stage by the stage hand who was obviously intent on keeping him out of trouble just when I was about to suggest he and the band go up island with us to "The Stephen Talkhouse", a great roadhouse (named after an Indian dude who used to deliver the mail from NYC to Montauk on foot!) on the tip of the South Fork of Long Island in Amagansett, a nice little hamlet which unfortunately is right next to East Hampton.

Of course, that would have wound up being him in a black Escalade with my two chicks and me driving behind them in my chicks Corolla but it would have been awesome to walk into the place with him ... He probably would have hopped on the skins with whatever band was playing. That is if the Escalade didn't lose me, haha!!

I've told the story before but I thought it would be worth sharing again as a glimpse at how cool he was at the time as he's demonstrating here.

Oh, and, yeah, he's spot on about the fact that these 7 and 8 year old kids are sharp. Say hello to the latest generation! To hell with Milllennials, meet the "Digital Natives" -- the kids who are born with smartphones in their hands.
