Happy Saturday and weekend! Some new music today from The Dead Daisies. The band has just released their lyric video for the song "Can't Take It With You." From the album Burn It Down. The band will tour Europe this winter. Enjoy.

Still not sure why these guys aren't talked about more. They are, to my mind, amazing. An incredible roster of talent, great songs, and (for what I hear and see on video) slamming live performances. Still miffed I haven't seen them on the road yet.

Oh, and in the interests of full disclosure: yes, I am a John Corabi fanboy. Own it, I say.

All Dead Dasies songs that I’ve hear so far are solid ‘meh’.

This is no exception.

Yes the band has talent, but it is just some rich guy hiring quality players to fulfill his rock fantasies. It doesn’t translate into songs that have any meaning or any standout qualities.

Buying your way on big tours and getting expensive studio time doesn’t make a band great. This is just missing the thing that makes you say ‘wow’.
