Tora Tora Rare Clip Released

We don't talk about Tora Tora much but we probably should. The band just released a previously unseen video via YouTube. It's a clip for a video they filed in July 1989 for the track "Guilty." The song is from the album Surprise Attack. This is great fun for a Sunday. What do you think?

always loved tora Tora. I never understood why they weren't bigger. they were a cool combination of late-80s hair metal, Southern boogie, and a nice dash of deep Memphis blues. I don't know what they look like, (did their look not work?), but I always loved their unique bluesy take on so-called hair metal.

Same here Bob. Tora Tora ruled!!!

I saw them at Rocklahoma in 2008 and they were so much fun. As many great bands from that era have full time jobs now, they play gigs sporadically. I’d pay to see these guys. Unfortunately not that many would .

Really good song. I always thought that if David Coverdale and Steve Whiteman of Kix spawned a kid, it'd be Anthony Corder, who sings for these guys. Lol

Saw this band with LA Guns and Dangerous Toys in 89. The good ol days.

Got all their stuff! Never have seen them and I envy those who have, particularly Badland. What a show that must have been, man!

Also, I can see why this video may have been shelved. Unfortunately, they (meaning, primarily the record company) probably realized they needed more footage of the girl and maybe more girls which would have amped it up a little more (visually, that is) but, more than likely, didn’t want to pay for the additional shooting.

What really would have made this a hit on MTV is having an actress dolled up like one of those Betty Grablesque pin-ups you would find painted on the front of one of those old bombers in the video.

She could have animated off the plane and come to life, so to speak, to dance and cavort to the music throughout the video and then wind up, once again, as a painting on the front of the plane, ending the video with a little wink at the camera.

Cheesy? Yes! Attention grabbing? Maybe.
