Santa Cruz Falls Apart, Cancels Tour

Santa Cruz, the Finnish Glam band with tons of potential, has been on a U.S. tour with Fozzy. Now the band has basically fallen apart, with three members kicking the singer off the band and leaving him stranded. So the tour is off and the band's future in jeopardy. Facebook announcement below.

Lead singer Archie Cruz took to Instagram to air some grievances, too.

Love this band and have all their stuff ... Maybe they’ll pull a Crash Dïet maneuver and simply replace him.

One thing you gotta appreciate about these guys is they’ve really tried to make it in the States, something I wish Hardcore Superstar, Eclipse, Crazy Lixx, Reckless Love, Confess, Vains of Jenna (had they survived) AND aforementioned top of the heap, Crash Dïet, among others, would have done.

p.s. Hey, maybe it’s not too late! Maybe you can all take turns renting Santa Cruz’s apartment in L.A.!!!

For his part, Parkkonen said that he, Toivonen and Fagerström were "leaving SANTA CRUZ" after facing "issues that they could not "solve even though we tried everything that we could to make this tour and band happen." He added: "I can't stay in a situation anymore where I have to be scared if somebody does irreversible harm to themselves or somebody else. That's why I'm leaving. I never thought I'd be in this situation, but I have no more options to use. I'm sorry."

So did lead singer Archie Cruz have some sorta' issue . . . besides the cheeky band name that reminds me of banana slugs and Birkenstocks? How did they sound/seem when you saw them, Ace?
