The Lazys 'Little Miss Crazy' - More Of The Simple/Good Stuff
HIM is on a roll right now. He provides another guest submission for us:
This is probably my favorite track off the recent Tropical Hazards. So imagine my surprise when they release another tongue-in-cheek video to celebrate it. Again, as with my last post, I thought I was finding something. Nah. Others picked up on this video right quick.
And, yeah, the slide guitar amps this one up a touch. It isn’t complicated. It isn’t groundbreaking. But it is good fun. When music makes you smile, music does what it is supposed to do.

And a couple of weeks ago, this was the track I pulled to represent them on my “Best of 2018” playlist.
Though, as you say, The Lazys aren’t exactly earth shattering, they do deliver a raucous brand of Rock & Roll!
But they could get a lot further toning down the clownsmanship and going for a little more bada*s approach.
That’s not to say they should lose it entirely. They can keep the guitarist’s facial expressions, which, at times throughout the video, are quite hilarious!
I can hear those influences too, Fletch. More 'cherry than Foo. But those aren't bad comparisons to make.
Yeah, Metalboy!, Leon Harrison seems to have one "video face" and he milks it for all it is worth. But it looks as if that is his only face, when you look at live videos of the boys. Matty Morris's face is a delight. He looks like he studied at the Schon School of Orgasmic Mouth Movements.
I also agree . . . they need to keep branching out to keep people listening and draw others in. That slide is a small slice of something different. So that was enough for me. And, like I said, I hear this band and I smile. Not a high bar. Then again, you set too high a bar and you might spill your drink!
