Nita Strauss Launches Fitness Challenge

This is the most interesting way I've seen a musician monetize their image. Nita Strauss, guitarist for Alice Cooper, is launching a fitness challenge called Body Shred and it is aimed directly at metal fans. She's known for being pretty fit now but that wasn't always the case. To be honest, I think this challenge looks pretty fun. There are lots of cool prizes but really, I'm interested just because I've never seen anything like this aimed solely at metal fans before. You have to go to Nita's website to signup - the basic entry and her new fitness book costs $20 but there are more expensive packages available. I am seriously considering this because I like fitness challenges and I think it might be something fun to do over the summer.

From what I understand Nita is in a transformation process of changing her life. She is now sober not sure how long but is looking at life in a new way. Good for her I hope the fitness aspect helps her manage a demanding life style. Just hope she doesn't follow Phil ( I don't wear a shirt so you can see my abs) Collen LOL

Well, being a man, im gonna hafta strongly disagree, Shawn. It's totally fine with me if she ever decides to go shirtless!!! Being a regular in the gym myself, since i was 13, i can completely respect anyone that suddenly decides to take their health seriously. Even if it's just running/walking. That's better than nothing!

Wow BK a gym rat - me too - getting harder at 51 though - gone are the days of throwing up massive weight. I also would rather see Nita than Phil - I was just poking fun at Phil no disrespect to the blonde hurricane :) or anyone making positive life changes for that matter.

Yes MB get Vince involved - he might live longer but it does seem that three of those boys have great longevity genes despite the years of abuse.

BK you are a complex character we have a lot in common.
