Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 12:01AM My favorite video for the past month or so is easily "Downtown" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The song features Foxy Shazam vocalist Eric Nally as well and is poised to be the biggest track of the year. The first time I heard the song I hated it... until it went through my head so much I had to listen again and again... and then I was hooked. There's nothing metal here - just a funny video that is worth a few minutes of your time.
Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 12:01AM Surprise! Lynam is releasing an EP called Bombshell on October 30. The first track released from the new effort is called "Send You Back." It sounds a little different from their other work. I'm on the fence about this one - I need to hear the other songs before I can make a judgement.

Monday, October 19, 2015 at 12:01AM Another big festival announcement for summer 2016. Iron Maiden will headline Wacken Open Air in August. I think it's cool how the Wacken festival organizers make a video for every single band announcement. Definitely more work but totally unique. The festival sold out in something like 3 days - 75,000 tickets total!
Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 12:01AM Time for another new Def Leppard song! This one is called "Dangerous" and it is off the band's upcoming self-titled album due October 30. I have to say I love this track too! The big, hooky chorus is a hoot and the song is just happy. This is the kind of song that can snap you out of a bad mood.
Come on ya'll - pre-order this album! Let's get Def Leppard on the Billboard chart in a decent spot.
