Friday Fun: Shuffle It Up

Ok, it is finally Friday. This week has been a long one and our friend Kari suggested today's topic: shuffle songs. So, everyone get our your MP3 players and hit "shuffle." List the first ten songs that come up in your play list. The more diverse, the better!

Here's my ten shuffle songs:

Sugar, We're Going Down - Fall Out Boy
Any Way You Want It – Journey
Headstrong – Trapt
The World Is Filled - The Notorious B.I.G.
Lay It Down – RATT
Nighttrain - Guns n' Roses
Stagefright - Def Leppard
I Wanna Rock - Twisted Sister
Nice on Ice – Kix
Let My Love Open The Door - Pete Townshend

I can't wait to see your lists - I love it when the shuffle brings out really crazy mixes or songs you haven't heard in ages. Go on, get crackin'!

Oops! I hit shuffle on one playlist called "More Heavy Roxx", instead of my entire iTunes collection.

Here goes again, this time pulling from all 8,014 songs (I'd have more to pull from but I can't keep up loading more...)

REVENGE OF THE SHUFFLE BUTTON

1) "In The Sun", Blondie
2) "Onward We Rock", Pantera
3) "Life Is Beautiful" (Radio Mix), Sixx A.M.
4) "It Could Be You", No Shame
5) "Shake It 2", Vaudville
6) "You Drive Me Wild", The Runaways
7) "School's For Fools", Life, Sex & Death
8) "Hard As A Rock", Dirty Rhythm
9) "Surfin' Bird", The Trashmen
10) "Never Look Back", Slash (w/ Iggy Pop)

p.s. Hahaha!!!, Kari. You're callin' me BIZARRE and you've got Lionel Ritchie and Halford comin' up back to back!

p.s.s.t. I call this particular random shuffle playlist "Revenge Of The Shuffle Button" cuz I'm so into continuity with my playlists. I NEVER hit SHUFFLE for reasons that became all too clear when I did it here! All this randomness just completely fried my brain, especially havin' "Surfin' Bird" pop up on me like that. Whoa!

Oops! That was "We're All Gonna Die" by Slash (w/ Iggy Pop) as the last song.

Alright, I must confess, I cheated.

I admit playin' God with the shuffle button, but I only did it just that once at the end, cuz I just couldn't stand goin' out on Darby Mills.

Wild that it came up with this little ditty from Slash and Iggy when I hit it again. What a song to go out on!

That's another thing about hittin' SHUFFLE... You unearth stuff you don't even remember having... like Darby Mills!

Also, if we did this next week, I'd probably have at least another 50 songs on my iTunes. Like everybody else on here, I'm Addicted To Rock'n'Roll!
