Friday Fun: Shuffle It Up

Ok, it is finally Friday. This week has been a long one and our friend Kari suggested today's topic: shuffle songs. So, everyone get our your MP3 players and hit "shuffle." List the first ten songs that come up in your play list. The more diverse, the better!

Here's my ten shuffle songs:

Sugar, We're Going Down - Fall Out Boy
Any Way You Want It – Journey
Headstrong – Trapt
The World Is Filled - The Notorious B.I.G.
Lay It Down – RATT
Nighttrain - Guns n' Roses
Stagefright - Def Leppard
I Wanna Rock - Twisted Sister
Nice on Ice – Kix
Let My Love Open The Door - Pete Townshend

I can't wait to see your lists - I love it when the shuffle brings out really crazy mixes or songs you haven't heard in ages. Go on, get crackin'!

Gotta luv the power of the IPod SHUFFLE! Reminds me a of the Forest Gump saying,’Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get.’
I don’t use the regular shuffle option as much as I probably should. I get fixated on a certain album, or artist or playlist I created and well, the regular shuffle mode just goes overlooked. Yesterday at work I opted for the shuffle and the song Right On Right by Sammy Hagar (off Red Voodoo) came on and WOW, it hit me! I totally forgot about this song and what a kick a** song it is at that! Sometimes the shuffle option can bring a song back to you that you love and yet, a song that just got lost in the “shuffle” of the 2000 songs that you have in your itunes!

I thought this was a fun little exercise for us BBG readers to all get involved with. Everyone always thinks they have the most diverse list of songs in their itunes (I know my artists range from Frank Sinatra to Jackson 5 to Sam Cooke to Elvis to VH to Wham to Keith Urban to Sabbath to The Theme Song of the Jeffersons to Iron Maiden and yes, even some Frank Stallone too). I always find it interesting to see what others have on their Ipods as well.

TGIF!

OK, so here i am always thinking I can't possibly keep up with my 2000 songs on itunes and some of you have 4,000/7,000 and even 12,000 songs on your itunes. HOLY GLAM Y'all, Impressive! Guess I have a date with my Itunes tonight and uploading more songs (haha)!

Metalboy, you are the most bizarre human being on the planet. I have never heard of most of your songs on your shuffle. I think your itunes would probably frighten me. Proud to know ya and call you friend! RIGHT ON BROTHA!
