Sad - yes, epic - not nearly.

The definition of "Epic" according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary:

1) Extending beyond the usual or ordinary especially in size or scope <his genius was "epic" -- Times Literary Supplement>

2) Of, relating to, or having characteristics of an "epic" <an epic poem>

IMHO, these two definitions describe what we see and hear in the above video very accurately.

I think this is Epic, alright. But it only reminds me how much I don't love Jon's voice. I think the song sounds better when only Bruce sings it.

But it is great to see these two together in support of this cause. When I think New Jersey, these are pretty much the guys that come to mind for me.

Really? "... I don't love Jon's voice." Of all the possible things you could comment on, that's what you have to say?

Why not, Carolyne? His voice does, in fact, sound a little weak, as does Springsteen's, especially at the start of the song. Let's face it, these guys just plain can't belt it out like they used to, as is the struggle of so many of our other heroes.

However, overall, the passion comes through, and the fact these Sons of Jersey banded together for such a noble cause with this one-off vocal duet, despite the occasional rough spots, IS Epic!

Metalboy, you have to understand that Rita and I have LOVED Jon for almost 30 years. For us, he is exempt from criticism. This is a man that has brought us more joy than Betty Crocker. And no, we're not fat. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Carolyne: I'll see you for another 30.

Carolyne... You're not fat? Are you married?

I'd like to flirt with you Metalboy but it might bother Rita.
