M3 Rock Festival Performance Times on HDNet

M3 Rock Festival kicks off tonight in Columbia, Maryland at Merriweather Post Pavilion. I won't be at the festival in person this year -- but I'll be watching on television for sure! Here's the HDNet schedule. I've have had my DVR set for a week!

The M3 PreParty was off the hook last night in Columbia MD. Wildstreet was extremely good last night with their new 16 yr old drummer. They now have two Western PA members and are representing Steeler Nation. Western PA has always grown good rock and rollers. This young boy is very talented and has given this band a huge improvement with its sound. Wildstreet play 1 1/2 and played all their popular songs. The bar was bouncing all night. Great time. I also met some people from this blog.

There is no Sunday set for M3. Saturday is the last day. The bands listed for Sunday are not there.

Well, it was quite the scene last night at M3. The real live Hair Metal Nation was in full effect. While I had HDNet DVRing for posterity, I watched KIX point blank for the 30th time. At this point, I just keep my eyes peeled on 10/10 as he is the one doing all the heavy lifting.

To be honest, though I love these guys like Brothers, I just don't know how many more times I can hear 'em play "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah", which clocks in around 13 minutes.

Note to KIX: Guys, why not play "Rock And Roll Overdose" and two others you never play in lieu of that snorefest.

Hate to say it, but the line-up's a little weak, once Cinderella had to drop out (Thanks, Jeff!), though I am stoked to see Stryper, Loudness, Lynch Mob and RATT today! Let's hope for a stronger ticket next year.

I was also amazed at the number of people I ran into who were on The Monsters of Rock Cruise.

p.s. Dang, wish I coulda hit that Pre-Party but i was still in Florida. I heard Clyde's was bouncin' last night, as well, but we bolted back to Naptown (Annapolis) for the requisite local skirt chasing. We will roll up to the 'Dena (Pasadena) after RATT to check out SURREAL, the best cover band in the Tri-City area (D.C., Baltimore and Annapolis).

Just curious, does anyone know if HDNet is planning to rebroadcast this set of concerts? I was at the concert on Saturday and noticed the HDNet cameras, but I assumed they were being recorded for a future broadcast.
