Slash, 'You're A Lie' -- Video Released

SLASH!

Have you seen the new Slash video for "You're a Lie" yet? I'm impressed because 1) I really like the song and 2) the video chick is actually age appropriate for the men in the clip. The single is off the album Apocalyptic Love which hits stores May 22! I can't wait to see Slash this weekend at Rock on the Range.

Also, check out the album before you buy - good stuff!

I ordered the fan pack months ago and will buy again next Tuesday when it's out in the US. Slash can do no wrong in my view ( although the girl was a waste of time in the video and what was the point, did they beat her up and she was bleeding on the floor ? )

Age appropriate ? 1/2 your age + 7 is always what I heard, when its not too creepy

That formula (1/2 your age + 7) is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time! Loved it!

First time I heard the song and I like it alot. Can't wait for the album. The last one rocked! Age app. video vixen was very nice. Also love 1/2 your age plus 7. Never heard that before. I'm 39, but I guess that only works if your 22 and older. :)

I learned the 1/2 your age plus 7 equation from my Italian friends in New York. Apparently, it's a traditwith carried over from the old country.

I have deployed it with great success for many years. Hell, this weekend, I had to subtract 6 after using this system. What a hassle!

p.s. Christian! Gotta say, you are nuts with buying all the versions but I'm sure it makes for a nice collection and it's cool to get the bonus tracks when available on Japanese editions, etc. it's just too bad they had to screw up the artwork by unnecessarily adorning it with Kennedy's name on it. Just calling the band SLASH was cooler. However it came up, it should have been ixnayed. Speaking of deluxe editions, do you have the extended release of RATT's "Infestation"? It's killer. By the way, SLASH bores me to tears and I say that with authority having seen him 5 times during the Stradlin Era, once with Steven, once when he did two numbers with Bang Tango and one with Gin Gypsy, then twice with Weiland in Revolver. However, I can appreciate a diehard fan's allegiance. I'm the same way with Cinderella, RATT, Crue and Trick no matter what their output may be. I will admit, though, I was very impressed with his all out, flawless performance at G'n'R's Induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

"A tradition carried over from the old country" -- damn auto-uncorrect!

Hey Metalboy. I have a signed copy of Infestation, but no extra tracks, I didn't know about that ? Yeah, I am a sucker for extra tracks, esp when it's a band that has no bad songs. I did the same with Accept 'Blood of the nations' and the bonus tracks were all good there, too. I have 3200 + CDs in my collection now.

I dunno. To me this song is pretty boring. I think the new Adler track is twice as good as this.

Christian! Preview the Special Edition of "Infestation" on iTunes. The bonus studio track, "Scatter" is the standout and rivals any song on the album. It might actually be the album's best track!
