M3 Festival Announcement Today


The producers of M3 Rock Festival will announce the 2013 lineup at 10 a.m. today. When the lineup is announced, I'll post it up here.

The festival is set for May 3 and 4 in Columbia, Maryland.

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1... to 1-2-3-4!

Let's hope M3 doesn't go down like last year when the promoters (If you could call them that) tried to sell the thing out with no decent headliner and had to reform RATT at the last minute for a one-off to save it.

Of course, if they wanna pull a stunt like that again, by all means, I'm all for it, but it sure would be great to get all the bells and whistles up front rather than waiting and wondering if M3 is gonna wind up being a borefest or not.

Still, who knows, they pulled themselves out of a nose dive and pulled off the Rock and Roll coup of the year with RATT. If they pull something off like that again, who's to complain?

Well, I'm sure we can find somebody around here.

KIX will have the same set length as W.A.S.P

Not a great lineup.. But I'll, of course, be there.

I had already known about KIX, W.A.S.P, Danger Danger, Twisted Sister, Jackyl, and Streetlight Circus.

A bit let down with the bands I didn't know about already.

Really, it's a bit sad. Twisted Sister are awesome live, but I think we've moved past them being a real headliner. Of course, I think they cost enough that they need to be a headliner.

With ya there, Christian. Sorry, but Twisted Sister should pay the promoters to be a "headliner".

Sorry, again, kidz, but I always thought of TS as a pretty boring novelty act. Cool logo, though.
