Jon Bon Jovi Interested In Buying NFL Team

Glam clearly pays ya'll.

Jon Bon Jovi is thinking of buying the Buffalo Bills. That's right, he's thinking of buying an entire NFL team.

The news comes from CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.

The Bills are expected to go on the market after current owner Ralph Wilson, 95, passes.

A couple years ago, Bon Jovi considered buying a stake in the Atlanta Falcons.

I guess if Jon buys the Bills, the stadium music will feature a little more rock, right?

In case you're wondering, the Bills are valued at $870 million bucks. So you know, chump change.

Bon Jovi should stay out of sports. He owned an area football team that won a championship about 4 years ago and he promised all the fans a free concert if they won before the season. We are still waiting.

He also was the main reason the AFL ceased operations for a while. It has been widely reported that his stubbornness and you need me mentality ruined the TV deal they had with ESPN. He would bring nothing to the table.

He should do it as long as he doesn't influence the selection of the players as SOME owners do, i.e. my old high school buddy, Steve Bisciotti, owner of The World Champeen Baltimore Ravens. Otherwise, I'm with JN if what he says is accurate.

As far as "Stadium Rock", I snicker everytime I hear AC/DC, Crüe, Ozzy and Quiet Riot are played in between plays as either music to psyche out the visiting team or to psych up the home team.

And someone outdid themselves at NBC on Sunday Night Football this past weekend when he had the master stroke to play the intro of Saxon's cover of Christopher Cross's "Ride Like The Wind" off their oft chastised best album, "Destiny", as the outro music before a commercial cutaway during the telecast. Bloody Brilliant!

Never knew/realized you went to school with Biscotti MB!! He's was the best thing that ever happened to the Baltimore franchise after Modell snuck them out of Indy in the middle of the night. Read a book by Brian Billick a few years ago, and your bud came across as a really cool guy to work for. I honestly don't think the same would be said of JBJ if he were to buy the Bills......

Football is so dreadful to watch. It takes them 2 minutes to set up a play that lasts for 8 seconds. There is a whole lot of standing around going on with very little action. Such a dull boring sport. I need fast paced action when I'm watching sports.
