Tom Keifer Releases New Video

It was a nice surprise for me when I checked my email yesterday and learned that Tom Keifer had just released a new video! The clip is in support of "The Flower Song," a track from his solo debut The Way Life Goes. I think you'll like this a lot - check it out.

Good song. But "Thick & Thin" is the brilliant track.

Nice but verisimilitude is lacking at the end when he unstraps his guitar, puts it away in it's case and saunters off while the band is still playing.

Don't get me wrong. Lots to like here. It's just some of the herrendous direction and shotmaking reeks of "Got my cousin to shoot it" syndrome that, unfortunately, pulls the whole affair down to mediocreville.

I like the whole vibe of the song. Great lyrics. Would love to see him do a solo show. He is just a great singer, always has been.

Metalboy! - spot on about packing up before the song is over. Nice touch the end is, I believe, his actual wife.

I think the song is very good live also, in the two times I've seen it performed.

I heard one other songs off this offering on music choice and when I first heard it I couldn't place the voice and I was in the other room so I couldn't see the T.V. and just for a second I was like when did Rod Stewart cut a rocking record and low and behold it was Tom...

This one is on my must have list before the end of the year.

This record sooooo deserved to be heard by the masses. It's a shame that radio is so horribly closed minded and regimented, because there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this would've reached a big section of people. Solid Ground is one of the slammingest, bang your head songs I've heard in ages, Thick And Thin is THE definition of a power ballad (that would've been in constant rotation on MTV way back when), and this song would've crossed over and been top ten in any radio "format". Great job Tom, you always were the cream of the crop back in the day for songwriting, and it's good to see absolutely nothing has changed over the years.
