Love/Hate Announce New Album

This one took me by surprise. Love/Hate will release a new mini album soon. The six track album will be called Crucified and after its release, the band will go on a UK tour.

Jizzy Pearl is still the lead singer of Love/Hate and he's also singing lead in Quiet Riot right now. You can buy the new Love/Hate single "Hanging You Out to Dry" on iTunes already. Here's all the track names:

Hanging You Out To Dry
Sunny Day
You're Making Me Nervous
I Don't Want To Be Your Baby
Love Is All
Too Late

Instead of buying the single now, I'll probably wait until the entire album is out. What do you think? Will you pick this one up?

Saw 'em at M3 and they Kicked A*s Royale! Just bought the new single and it's KILLER! Granted, it ain't no "Black Out In a Red Room" (One of my "Top 10 Faves of The 80's", BTW), but it leads me to think I will spring for the Mini LP upon it's release.

As an aside, I can never figure out why bands don't just go for 3 to 5 more songs to then release a full length album as opposed to a "mini" but what the h*ll, how hard can it be for such a great band like this. Maybe it's a price point thing (Isn't everything, these days?).

I'm curious to see what is going to happen with other former members of the band pitching fits about this version.

Pearl? Seems to be a traveler like Corabi, but just a step or two below him in terms of talent and charisma (and stuck with that self-inflicted name that is as close to "ugh" as _Pearl Jam_ without any of the royalties coming in). That said, both seem like they were just "that close" to larger careers.

Either way, wish him the best with this. If it pays the bills and gets some traction, good for him. It has to be better than the situation with Guns (and, contrary to a lot of other people, I enjoyed his handling of their classic tunes).

Too bad he's the only original member in this version of the band, I'd still go see them live if they came to town.

Jizz will ruin QR just like he did Warrant..is there not someone better in this world?

@Jimbo - Jizzy was never in Warrant maybe you are thinking RATT?

I really liked him in L.A. Guns, wish we got another album from that incarnation instead of the Shrinking Violet reissue.

Jon E. Love is pissed about this new record being called 'Love/Hate", and has threatened to sue, so that should be interesting.... On that note, I really liked "Let's eat" and was Jizzy not the only OG on that one as well?

Not really L/H, but I have and like both Jizzy solo albums, so I'll definitely give it a shot (this is just a solo album, in everything but name). He's the only one that's been keeping the L/H name alive for years, so can't begrudge him much for using it to sell a few more albums.
