Preying On fans loyalty. I’m not wasting my time checking but I’m pretty sure they have some sorta greatest hits/career retrospective issue out.

I hope that turd of a holiday song savage penned is on it.....it can be sold as a comedy album and be #1 on the comedy charts. Then DL can put out the #1 album moniker press release for “The Story So Far” is that we can’t be relevant with new music so we will take advantage of our loyal fans during our RRHOF nomination year.

I truly hope they get in.

Just another bunch of has beens that need to call it a day. And that's coming from someone who thought pyromania & hysteria were both masterpieces, & have very happily seen them thrice before, back in the day.

I second most of the sentiments on this post. I wonder: are these the re-recorded versions of their songs? If so, that gives this a scintilla of legitimacy in the "clawing back your back catalog" category.Notice I said just a speck. That re-recording thing went nowhere in 2012 (I won't suggest why) and they then folded like an origami Union Jack and released their songs on digital media at the start of this year.

Who buys these things? And the title is a giggle-inducing nod to, well, nothing. Which is to say, nothing that happens in their story after this is going to rival what came before (and I am talking a long time ago).

They have every right to do whatever they please. And they tour to packed mid-level palaces nearly continuously. But the "next" greatest hits album is always dodgy to me. Give us something we don't have and do want. Don't wallow in the mire.

ok BKallday- you're back to being dead to me hahah i don't think they should toss in the towel just yet.
I really admire Phil Collin he makes playing the guitar look so effortless.
HIM- there are remastered songs from this year on it. and fold like an origami Union Jack. good one! :)

Since it’s obvious the majority of the different comments here are coming from one “person” using different nom de plumes (and we know who you are!), I will address the only genuinely legitimate comment and not that of those violating the unwritten laws of BBG! ...

The re-recorded songs offer nothing, nothing, nothing to anyone, anyone, anyone with an appreciation for authenticity or at least a casual awareness to decipher the superiority of an original and a knock-off.

Sure Leppard May reap an extra mil or two off people who mistakenly hit the inauthentic button when buying their back catalog but do they really need it? My Dad used to say, “What’s the difference? You can only eat so many steaks in one lifetime.” Even if you’re a vegetarian, you may have an understanding of what he’s getting at.

So, if it’s a “Photograph”, I’ll take the original. Robert “Muttt” Lang didn’t slave over 88 takes of a single drum beat for 5 years to capture the right one only go have some idiot buy the re-recording of it.

Yeah, so, maybe they didn’t do the best deal with Mercury but that didn’t change the menu from Filet and some of their cheap a*s wine!

Good gravy... what a turd that put this "CD" together. I want to make my own 17-18 track Def Leppard of ROCK ! They are one of the few bands that could actually have a multiple Best Of and be more of a genre or mood on each "CD".

GNR! What would be your Mix? Just curious as you are ALWAYS a man of integrity when it comes to your comments, unlike this other dude posing as 3 others in this set of comments!
