I Guess This Was Supposed To Be Edgy?

Seems stupid to me.

I think it’s supposed to be funny, albeit, TRUE!

Vince Neil has let himself go to the point where he is a ticking time bomb if he doesn’t get it together soon.

Look, though freakshow facial plastic surgery disaster, Michael Starr never attained even a sliver of the stardom of Neil, he still has a point, regardless.

Every time Neil rolly pollys across the stage, in actuality, he is marching to his own death nell. Until he decides to get himself under control, every step is one step closer to what Starr describes.

If it takes morbid humor in questionable taste to jolt Neil into getting his life on track, I’m all for it.

Just need to make a sequel to this VH1 treasure from like 15 years ago (Remaking of Vince Neil):

Nothing like a little gallows humor, Basileus ...

And, GNR, I was thinking the same thing, only this ho ‘round would inevitably be called, “Vince Neil, EXTREME Makover 2”.

“Ho” ‘round ... Geezus! That was TOTALLY unintended but somehow appropriate!!!

No... "ho" round would be the next Rock of Love Bus/Cruise/House or whatever Bret wants to play with :)

Before I took my sabbatical, I vowed to not make fun of Neil anymore. Wasn't much fun.

But humor has a way of saying things that otherwise get lost. Starr (Saenz) is actually making a great point. It's fine if Neil wants to hoist the flag, carry the torch, and play the hits. So be it. People pay. You know the drill. Thing is, there are people out there--myself, Saenz, etc.--who actually worry about losing rock stars before their time. Heck, we worry about losing rock stars when it is their time (age does that to you).

Saenz played it for a laugh. So what? Did anyone expect him to go into a point-by-point discussion of health and mortality? He is in character. He is a Starr. The point is the same though. When you get more laughs than applause, it is time to start considering what you are doing. That comment isn't about Saenz. And I haven't broken my promise.
