'Don't Stop Believin' Called Biggest Song Of All Time

The Journey classic "Don't Stop Believin" was just named the biggest song of all time by Forbes. The song is 18 times platinum and Forbes reports that every person in the world has "likely" heard the track. Of course that is a bit of hyperbole but it is true that the Journey classic is certainly played to death and all of us here know every word.

"Don't Stop Believin" was released in 1981.

Ah, c'mon MB! Journey was pretty damn good, back in the Steve Perry days! Ok, so it was late 70s, early 80s arena rock, but pretty damn good, I say. In fact, I saw Journey on the Escape tour back in '82. I think it was the third concert I ever saw!

Oh, just one other side note regarding "Don't Stop Believin'". For any Sopranos fans that remember the final scene of the series, that was the song that was playing throughout the scene up until the "cut to black". And the scene was shot at Holsten's, right around the corner from my house! The "Sopranos booth" also just sold on ebay for $82,600 a couple weeks ago!

Just some random trivia!

And I just realized, the Escape tour was '81.

I hear ya, Eddie!

One of my inexcusable cheap shots …

THAT song is a masterpiece, no doubt! … I especially love the Rock Sugar mashup treatment, “Don’t Stop The Sandman” …

Take two songs that have been beat to hell and put ‘em in a blender to one make great song, albeit, a comic one!
