Super Bowl Sunday: Slash Will Perform at Halftime

It's Super Bowl Sunday - finally! Packers vs. Steelers. I loathe the Steelers so for this game, I'll be a Green Bay fan all the way! During the halftime show, Slash, Usher and the Black Eyed Peas will perform. I wonder if some random Guns n' Roses songs will be thrown in the mix? Don't forget to watch!

I doubt it about the GNR stuff althought that would be cool. I'm thinking They'll do Beuatiful Dangerous from His solo album.

However I really think they shou;d have gotten someone else to perform this year. Props for getting a relevant artist this time. (Not dissing the past few years at all)

Still There has to be a metal or glam band that could put on a good show. Kiss comes to mind since they are most likely coming out with a new album in the summer.Van Halen and Judas Priest are two others taht come to mind. Like that'll ever happen! Still wishful thinking. I mean heck did anyone see Tom Petty coming a few years back? lol

The Black Eyed Peas are the definition of why music sucks today.

You would think that they would at least do a snippet of Paradise City since she has sang it in the past.

Considering that the game is on FOX, I am just happy that we aren't getting a halftime show of American Idol superstars and a GLEE filled pregame. I am also happy that they aren't hitting up the teen demographic from what they have done in the past in Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, Britney, and all those other fools. I am glad that they went with a younger generation with this years performance. Hip hop and hard rock is the only music that should be played at sporting events.

Christina Aguilara is supposed to be singing pregame from what I hear, Keith Urban and Maroon 5 are also doing pregame. I don't know how that'll turn out.

I guessed that a couple weeks ago because I figured they needed to rock it out a little more and it's logical to get Slash because of his collaboration with Fergie.

The Black Eyed Peas will come on and do their thing and in the middle of it, in typical Super Bowl fashion, Slash will appear out of nowhere and they will launch into "Beautiful Dangerous". I wonder if they'll work a G'n'R tune, too. "Welcome To The Jungle" anyone?

OTSK! Shad's right! They coulda had Van Halen a coupla years ago when those guys were on the "reunion" tour with Roth. After all, their music is usually played in every stadium across America during football season. It woulda been a natch!
