Farewell 'Fast' Eddie Clarke

Some sad Motorhead news. Original guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke has died. The cause of death seems to be pneumonia. Here's the Facebook announcement:

The proverbial “in heaven” jam band is complete. Lemmy, Würzel and Eddie. A Mötorhead lineup in the unknown.

Kixchix, don't forget drummer extraordinaire and legendary eccentric Philthy Animal Taylor who died in 2015. Eddie Clarke wasn't the original guitarist in Motorhead, but he was certainly in the most famous lineup. Let's also not forget his great work on those first few Fastway albums. His solo albums weren't bad either.

Sad News - Very good reply Bob! Those first 2 (were there more) Fastway Albums are great. Another Album I bought based on Album cover art with no knowledge of the band. Easy Living was another great one on the first record.

Let's not forget _Waiting for the Roar_ (1985) or the soundtrack to _Trick or Treat_ a year later. Not on par with their debut. But still nice slabs of mid-80 rock.

I wonder if David King paid tribute to him. Seriously. I don't know. But I hope he did, as King was lucky to work alongside Clarke.
