Aerosmith continues to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The other day I mentioned the band would be raiding their vaults and sharing some classic, unreleased live shows. Yesterday, Aerosmith shared "Live From The Summit, Houston, TX, 1977." Act fast because you will only be able to watch the entire concert for one week.
The concerts took place in Houston on June 24 and June 25, 1977 - way before I was even an idea to my parents!
This is old school, down and dirty rock and roll, live and in your face. Enjoy!

This is a great clip I stumbled upon: a professional opera singer discovers Aerosmith and Steven Tyler and critiques a live performance of "Crazy." It's adorable seeing her discover Tyler's vocal range and also refers to the song as "early in their career." I hope she looked into them further and found the 70s treasure trove of Aerosmith bliss! This is a fun watch and our Sunday's Best for this week.
"The Girls of Summer" came out in 2002 as a new track to promote O Yeah! Ultimate Aerosmith Hits. My parents gave me the CD for Christmas that year. Eric and I got married in early December of that year, so getting the album was a way to bridge my younger days with my new, full-on adult life. I can't believe the song is 20 years old. Then again, I can't believe I'll be celebrating that many years of marriage soon, too!
