Merry Slipknot Christmas

Well, Thanksgiving is over and so is Black Friday. Cyber Monday is here, but that was never much my thing. My point? I guess we're into the full swing of the Christmas season. My husband and I decorated our house inside and out yesterday. I go for the more refined: white lights, cream ribbon, gold and chocolate brown ornaments. Then there's the other side of the spectrum, which is Slipknot set to Christmas lights. The Metal fanatic in me loves this:

Bon Jovi Black Friday

Happy Black Friday to my fellow Americans. I'm about to head out to grab a handful of deals. Nothing major on my shopping list this year. Still Black Friday is my favorite unofficial holiday. I'm a deal hound anyway, so if I can stack bigger sales and coupons on items I need, I love it. Just remember to double-check the sales today to make sure you really are getting a great deal. Here's an amazing concert clip of Bon Jovi live from 1988... you know, before the band sold out and went country.

'Big Fat Money' -- Van Halen

UPDATE: Sorry guys - Warner Brothers killed the stream. If they were smart they would have used the news of this stream to market the Van Halen catalog, but whatever. I hope some of you at least got to hear this.

A never-before-heard instrumental of Van Halen's "Big Fat Money" has surfaced on YouTube. The track is from Balance, one of my very favorite Van Halen albums! This instrumental was likely recorded in 1994. This is great stuff. Enjoy!

Bret Michaels Teases News

Bret Michaels teased some news last night, tweeting the image below. Here's my top picks for what he's teasing:

1) A Poison tour is happening

2) Another Bret solo tour is happening

3) Bret is teaming up with some company and launching his own luggage line

Of those options, sadly I think number 3 is the most probable at this point. I mean, branding some luggage would probably make Bret the most money these days, and the effort would be basically minimal on his part. What do you think the tweet means?
