Vince Neil Gets Mad Over Metallica... (Sort Of)

Just listen to the interview stream below (click to the post on Blabbermouth) - the clip is about 5 minutes long. A little awkward.

Interesting Scorpions Demo

The Scorpions are pretty good at sharing demos of their classic songs. The other day, band members shared a different version of "Coming Home" on their official Facebook. It's interesting to compare to the actual album cut.

Here's a classic performance clip of "Coming Home." Gotta love the spandex!

So This Happened: Tyler and Swift

Steven Tyler joined Taylor Swift on stage Friday night during the Nashville stop on her 1989 tour. The duo sang Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing." The song might be Aerosmith's only number 1 hit (which is ridiculous)... but I still can't stand the song!

Joel Hoekstra’s 13, 'Long For The Days' -- New Song

Hollywood, Ca (September 25, 2015) – Get ready for world premiere of the third single “Long For The Days” from Joel Hoekstra’s 13’s new studio album Dying to Live, which will be released October 16th.

"Long For The Days is a song about reflection and regret over a relationship gone badly," explains Joel.  "It's a good old-fashioned, classic-rock style track that captures elements of some of my favorite bands (I'll let you figure them out!).  Vinny Appice (drums) and Tony Franklin (bass) lay it down while Derek Sherinian (keys) provides the right sounds and parts with tasteful perfection.  Russell Allen delivers one of my favorite vocal performances EVER and Jeff Scott Soto sings some amazing backgrounds to support them.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing/recording it!"

Dying To Live features an all-star cast of rockers including Jeff Scott Soto (vocals), Russell Allen (vocals), Tony Franklin (bass),Vinny Appice (drums), and Derek Sherinian (keyboards), and will be available via Frontiers Music SRL on Friday, October 16th.

Motorhead Prepares Whisky Launch

So Motorhead is about to launch their own brand of whisky. I think we should all buy some! I'm not a whisky drinker. I prefer a good Pinot Grigio myself (haughty wine snobs be damned. I like what like!) But a bottle of the Motorhead stuff would look cool on the counter for sure. Will you buy a bottle?
