Someone Explain Celtic Frost To Me

I'm pretty sure Celtic Frost was never a glam band... and yet look at the photo below. Was this just a marketing ploy to get more album sales for an extreme metal band? Or not? What am I missing here? Is there a treasure trove of Celtic Frost glam left for me to explore?

Great Cause, Funny Photo

Bret Michaels of Poison is a big advocate for diabetes research. Bret's battled the disease his entire life, so he comes by it honestly.

It's humorous to me how Bret looks in this photo next to all the researchers. An odd PhotoShop job but great cause. Rock Stars of Science is aimed at promoting science to kids. He's been involved with the group since at least 2010.

Metallica Announces North American Tour

As rumored, Metallica has announced a North American tour. It starts way later than I expected, running into winter 2019. At least the band is giving their fans a little heads up I guess. Tickets go on sale March 2 via LiveNation.

Hardcore Superstar Release 'Bring The House Down' Video

One of my favorite modern glam bands is Hardcore Superstar. A couple days ago, the band posted the video for "Bring The House Down" on their official Facebook page. The song is from the upcoming album You Can't Kill My Rock n' Roll, due in September. The album is available for pre-order for under ten bucks on Amazon.

Metallica Teases Tour

The clip below is on all of Metallica's social channels and on a ton of stadium-concert venues as well. Metallica will apparently announce a big North American tour on Monday. There is a rumored stop in Cincinnati. We'll see what happens!
