KISS Perform On Late Night

The KISS promo machine rolls on. The band just performed "Love Gun" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The appearance is to promote the band's upcoming farewell tour.

The performance was just okay for me. It's been 40 years, so what can you expect? Voices change. But charging like $7,500 for a meet and greet is just insane.

KISS Releases Farewell Tour Promo Video

The tour dates are out - who is going to this one? Coming closest to me in March. We'll see. I am sure the band will add more dates. Gene Simmons never ignores the chance to make a dollar.

New SIXX: A.M. Music Is Coming

Nikki Sixx likes to answer fan questions on Twitter. I noticed he's mentioned SIXX:A.M. more recently and started posting old pics of the band on his Instagram too. Now this:

I guess rumors of the band being done forever were premature. Nikki gets bored easily and he needs projects. Also, this:

Aldo Nova Releases New Album And Song 'I’m A Survivor'

Aldo Nova is a performer we don't talk about much here. Completely underrated in my book as a solo artist, but he has enjoyed a lot of success writing songs for others.

Nova was pretty big in the early 80s. Maybe not 100% glam but definitely AOR. Aldo Nova 2.0 just came out and that new album features the track "I'm A Survivor." Check it out.

Jetboy Release New Music, Lyric Video

Happy Saturday.

It's a dark, rainy and cold day here in my part of the world. This is always the start of the "hard" months for me. The days get short, it's cold, damp and the weather is just the pits. I try to do things that cheer me up like going for a run, listening to some new music or planning a trip somewhere sunny and warm so I can escape Ohio for awhile.

The new music I'm listening to today is from Jetboy. The band has a new song called "Beating the Odds" from Born To Fly which comes out at the end of January. Let me know what you think.

The Cruel Intentions Release New Music

The lead singer of the The Cruel Intentions might look familiar because it's Lizzy DeVine, previously of Vains of Jenna.

From my inbox:

The Cruel Intentions drop their new music video for the track “Weekend Suffering” today, taken from their newly released album No Sign of Relief. Their fast, punky hard rock energy fix is now accompanied with an old school black and white video!

Stephen Pearcy Readies New Solo Music

Stephen Pearcy has a new solo track called "U Only Live Twice." The way things have been for him lately, maybe that's true. Hopefully Pearcy is on an upswing for the better.
