Fave Alice Cooper: Number 1

Is there any more iconic chorus? I don't think so.
I received this press release yesterday. We knew Britny Fox was going to tour this fall... and now some dates are out. So far only three shows have been announced, which isn't exactly a tour. Hopefully more shows will be announced soon.
HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 26, 2015) – Coming off a small run of successful West Coast dates, BRITNY FOX is hitting the East Coast for Farm Rock Atlanta, a two day festival of retro 80’s debauchery. BRTINY FOX then ends up in their home town of Philadelphia, PA with band Heavens Edge at the Theatre of the Living Arts.
BRITNY FOX is currently writing for a new album, which is a follow up to the BITE DOWN HARD album, which was released in 1991 – This musical jewel was a definite game changer on the classic BRITNY FOX sound that originally exploded in 1988. "It's awesome playing with Billy and Johnny again - Chris fits right in perfectly with us freaks,” exclaims Tommy Paris, lead singer. “The new songs are ass kicking, fun, heavy rock! It's a great time hanging out with Doobie, writing new tunes and putting a new show together! Can't wait to get back out on stage!"
SHOW DATES & INFO:
SAT 11/07 – NORCROSS, GA NORTH ATLANTA TRADE CENTER
FRI 11/13 – QUEENS, NY BLACKTHORN 51
SAT 11/14 – PHILADELPHIA, PA THEATRE OF THE LIVING ARTS
BRITNY FOX comprises of Tommy Paris: Vocals/rhythm Guitar, Chris Sanders: Lead Guitar, Billy Childs: Bass and Johnny Dee: Drums. The band has sold close to 2 million in sales world-wide and charted on Billboards Top 10 for both Girl School and Long Way To Love.
John Corabi, who sang on Motley Crue's self-titled release way back in 1994, is currently on tour, recreating some of that magic. Tonight in Nashville, John and his band will perform all of MC94 from top to bottom and record the show for a future release. Not for nothing, the performance will be videotaped too - so we're looking at a CD/DVD release in our future.
I'm pretty excited about this because 1) everyone knows my obsession for the Motley 94 release and 2) I'm a big Corabi fan. To this day, I still say Motley Crue is the band's best album... right behind Shout At The Devil. I remember being so into MC94 when it came out - all my friends had moved on, but I was definitely digging it. The sound and music was different and for the time, it fit. Plus I never cared what anyone else ever thought of the music I liked - still don't to this day. I knew Motley getting back with Vince Neil was inevitable... but I always wonder how much more awesome music we missed out on with such a short Corabi-Crue union.
The Rainbow Bar & Grill, one of the holy meccas of all things Glam on the Sunset Strip, is closed for a few days because of a cockroach invasion... at least according to TMZ.

The Rainbow has a sign on the door claiming plumbing issues is the reason for the abrupt closure. At any rate, the historic restaurant should re-open next week. The Rainbow will host a big costume party this weekend for Halloween.
Unfortunately we have legitimate repairs to our kitchen. We will be closed remodeling the kitchen until Monday at the earliest.
