Did Buckcherry Just Make The Coolest Video Ever?

I'm always amazed when bands still spend a little money on music videos, let alone a lot of money when hardly anyone watches video clips anymore.

Just a couple days ago, Buckcherry released a "making of" video in advance of the clip for "Nothing Left But Tears." If you invest the six minutes and watch the "making of" clip, you'll see how impressive the final video will be. I mean, it's definitely high-dollar. It has a real concept, a complete story, special effects makeup, actors and more.

I definitely can't wait for the official release of "Nothing Left But Tears."

RATT Performs 'City to City' Live

RATT performed "City to City" (from the album Reach for the Sky) the other day at the Halfway Jam. I don't remember ever seeing RATT do the song live. It's possible I just don't recall it, but I'm still pretty stunned "City to City" was added to the set list. I always appreciate when the bands we love throw some more obscure tracks into the mix. I can't say that RATT sounds the best I've ever heard them here, but I appreciate the effort nonetheless.

I've Still Never Seen The Cult Live...

It seems amazing to me after all the concerts I've been to that I've never seen The Cult live. The band remains at the top of my "must see" list but it just hasn't happened yet for whatever reason. To that end, I was pleased as punch to find a full Cult concert on YouTube. The concert is actually from just a couple days ago in San Diego.

Slash Pulls a Tommy Lee

Remember when Tommy Lee decided to branch out to electronica? Slash sort of dipped his toe into the electronica genre at the Tomorrowland 2013 festival. The amount of people in the crowd is mind blowing. Check it out.

MTV Spring Break With Vixen

Who remembers the classic MTV Spring Break weeks? I remember watching them with my mom when I was in middle and high school. I swear, I wanted to be on one of those Spring Break shows but by the time I got to college, MTV was basically out of the rock music business...and I couldn't have afforded the trip anyway.

Last night I found a full concert of Vixen at the MTV 1989 Spring Break at Daytona Beach, Florida. Brings back good memories.

The Hollywood Crue Fest Returns to the Whisky A Go-Go

I wish I was in California so I could support this great cause. Since I can't be there in person, I guess posting this release so the West Coast Glammers can go helps a little.

Since 2001, the annual Hollywood Crue Fest has been held to benefit the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund, a foundation established by Motley Crue front man Vince Neil to battle childhood illnesses.

On Saturday night, July 27th, the world famous Whisky-A-Go-Go rock club in West Hollywood, CA will host the annual Crue Fest, featuring a full day of entertainment with nine featured bands and dozens of music industry guest appearances on stage.

Founded, funded and developed by music promotions expert Nick Culves, the show has been a Sunset Strip feature since 2001 and has brought tens of thousands of fans to Hollywood from around the world to celebrate and take part in the event. The 2013 edition of Crue Fest will be equally as spectacular as previous years.

Club doors open at 4:30 pm, with the show starting at 5:00 pm. The bands on stage will offer hours of consistent performances, including an All-Star Jam featuring some of the hard rock industries top performers. The current line-up announcement is as follows:

Another 'Hair I Go Again' Trailer Posted

Basically the Hair I Go Again documentary is going to be awesome. It's been in process awhile now. I know the filmmakers have been trying to raise money as they go along, so hopefully this film will be released soon. I think it will be a riot. An Indiegogo campaign is now live below if you'd like to help.
