Former Lillian Axe Guitarist Jon Ster Dies

If you're a fan of Lillian Axe you might remember Jon Ster. The guitarist was with the band long ago - he was an original member. According to the Lillian Axe Facebook account, Ster died yesterday. No other information was given. Here's the Facebook post below.

Great New Band: Dirty Thrills

Dirty Thrills formed back in 2012. The UK band is very straight up rock n' roll. The video for "No Resolve" just came out. It seems like these guys could really catch on with the right promotion. Maybe opening for a classic band would help. At any rate, I dig it.

ICYMI: KISS Rocks A Parade

KISS "performed" during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade yesterday. I put performed in quotes since all musical acts just lip synch their little segments during the parade. It took a long time for KISS to roll up to Herald Square, but when they did it was kind of cool. Of course KISS did "Rock N' Roll All Nite" but it's all good - everyone in the crowd was singing along! Even better was the pyro that shot off the back of the float.

Enuff Z'nuff Releases New Video

Happy Thanksgiving!

So Enuff Z'nuff (which is really just Chip Z'nuff these days I think) just put out a video for "The Stroke." The song is a cover of the Billy Squier hit and is from the new EZN album Covered in Gold. I like the cover but I don't care for the video. The girls in the background were too distracting to me.

This Will Make You Smile

Picture it: Warrant, live in Japan back in 1991. A big, screaming crowd, great moves on stage and Jani Lane in all his glory. I had a great time watching this full concert from Nakano Sun Plaza Hall in Tokyo and I bet you'll love it too. Videos like the one below remind me why I'm a Glam fan.
