April Fool's Day Prank... Or Not?

A reunited Guns n' Roses are rumored to be playing a really intimate club show in Los Angeles Friday night. This would be a warmup for their two Las Vegas gigs next week. Friday is April Fool's Day so I say proceed with caution on this one.

Remember that Steven Adler's show at the Whisky A Go-Go on April 1 was cancelled... fueling rumors that Adler was getting ready to head to Vegas to participate in the reunion. Maybe the show was canceled because Guns n' Roses are playing instead.

If you live in Los Angeles, definitely keep your ear to the ground - you just might stumble on the club show of the decade!

3rd Annual 'Acoustic-4-A-Cure' Concert Announced

"Acoustic-4-A-Cure" is set for May 15 and will feature Sammy Hagar, James Hetfield, Tommy Lee and a slew of other famous musicians. The musicians will perform acoustic sets and raise money for the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. If you're in the San Francisco area, you should check this out. Tickets go on sale April 1 via Live Nation.

The Axl Rose - AC/DC Rumors Heat Up

Now TMZ is on the case, snapping photos of Axl Rose leaving the AC/DC rehearsal studio in Atlanta recently. The hot rumor is that Axl is taking over the singing duties for AC/DC. I still don't believe that is happening, but who knows. The interesting part of the TMZ article is this sentence:

"There are reports the Guns N' Roses frontman is going to fill in as lead singer for AC/DC, which is rumored to be opening for GNR on its upcoming tour."

I'm sorry, but there is no situation on this planet that AC/DC is an opening act... right?

Bret Michaels Works Himself Sick Again

Bret Michaels keeps up his crazy touring schedule and endorses everything under the sun... and sometimes that wears a man down. Bret had to cancel a show over the weekend because his blood sugar went nuts. Remember, he has diabetes, so that is no bueno. We like to slag on Bret around here but no one wants him sick. The Facebook post below has a lot of nice comments from fans who also suffer from diabetes.

Toxicrose Release 'World Of Confusion' Video

Toxicrose is a Swedish band. They are a cross between glam, sleaze and straight metal. I certainly would not put them in the clear glam lane. I wanted to share their video for "World Of Confusion" because of the optics: if you squint really hard, you'll think you're watching Shout! era Motley Crue. The costumes, the fire and the video are pretty good. I'm on the fence about the music.
