How To Help

Form a united front on Tuesday, June 2 and stand against racism. The plan is to disconnect from work and reconnect to your community. Do some good in the world. #TheShowMustBePaused

Donate to a bail fund, read about racism and historical injustice in America and vow to be an ally. Especially buy music made by black artists.

Farewell Bob Kulick

Guitarist Bob Kulick has died. It is not exactly clear the cause of death. His brother, fellow musician Bruce Kulick, announced the news on social media yesterday. Bob was a studio musician for KISS and W.A.S.P. and toured and recorded with Meatloaf, among other acts.

Def Leppard Releases 'London To Vegas' Today

When everything feels hopeless, music usually cheers me up. For the biggest part of my life, I have always turned to Def Leppard to boost my mood when I am feeling blue. Since a lot of things feel and seem impossible right now, I have been listening to more Def Lep than usual lately. Now there is a new offering from the band.

The four CD/Blu-Ray set London to Vegas drops from Def Leppard today. As of the writing of this post, the set is the top seller in music videos on Amazon. Order through my link and support the site. Affiliate link:

Crashdiet Remembers Dave Lepard

Dave Lepard was the original lead singer of the Swedish glam band Crashdiet. Their debut, Rest in Sleaze, remains one of my favorite albums. Dave took his life in 2006.

Seeing the band's Facebook post this morning shook me. I had forgotten how long ago Dave died. Looking at Amazon, it seems that Rest In Sleaze is now out of print which is such a shame. Of course the album is available for streaming and you can listen to it here: Rest in Sleaze

The Doobie Brothers Reschedule Tour For Next Summer

I am having issues with the security key on this website and I apologize. It is taking a little longer to fix than I anticipated. Thank you for your patience. Right now, it is slightly quicker to view the site by going to bringbackglam.net.

The Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald was another tour I planned on seeing this summer. I was waiting to buy tickets for this one and I am glad I did not for obvious reasons. The tour is now planned for summer 2021 but some dates have been completely canceled. Ticket refunds are available.

It is May 27 and we are marching right toward June 1 which is supposed to be the day Motley Crue and Def Leppard announce their "plans" for The Stadium Tour. The plans will be mostly rescheduled shows for 2021 I'm sure - but I guess we will wait and see.

Brian May Reveals Heart Attack

Here is some scary news. Earlier this month, Queen guitarist Brian May suffered a heart attack and he said he "nearly died." The news broke yesterday and there was an outpouring of support for May. The last thing we need right now is to lose May. A lot of us fear that I suspect because that would be the most 2020 thing ever at this point.

Despite having millions of fans worldwide, May seems honestly stunned and humbled at all the well wishes. He made a little video diary about the messages of support and you can see that below.

May had three stents placed in his heart. The 72 year old is recovering and says he now feels "fine."

Not In This Lifetime - Video Memory

Like every other band, Guns n' Roses had to cancel summer touring plans. As a little gift to fans, GnR released a live clip from the 2019 Salt Lake City, Utah stop of the "Not In This Lifetime" tour.
