Today is Cyber Monday - but really, isn't everyday an online shopping holiday now? Motley Crue re-released a special, limited edition T-shirt celebrating the Shout! era for Cyber Monday. Honestly, I do not need one more band T-shirt but I really like the design on the one below, which is why I am posting (but not buying). If you follow Twisted Sister on YouTube, you may have noticed that the band shared a new video on Friday. The clip is a full concert of "A Twisted X-Mas: Live In Las Vegas 2011." This is something to watch if you want a little pick-me-up!

Christmas Rock "Radio"

Today was an odd one at my house. Eric and I slept in because it is a vacation day for us. Pretty much after we woke up, both the power and Internet went out... for hours. So it was cold, dark and quiet. Around lunchtime we headed out to pick up curbside takeout and then put up some greenery outside to finish off our holiday decor. Then it was back to napping with the cat, because there wasn't anything else to do. I mean, I can only shop on my phone for so long!

Since Thanksgiving is over and it is Black Friday, the holiday season is officially upon us. I wondered if Amazon had a rock-themed Christmas music station and the answer is yes, of course. Listen to Classic Rock Christmas and hear tunes from Elvis Presley, Wham!, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and many more.

Happy Thanksgiving American readers! I hope you enjoy however you may be celebrating this year. I'm sure this year looks different from past holiday seasons. We will all be back together soon. Until then... here's a little death metal Thanksgiving to get you going while you cook the turkey and bake the pies.

Rock and Muppets = Awesome

Today has been sort of chaotic for me. I slept in later than normal (not planned!), which messed up my whole morning routine before work. Then of course there were some pressing fires to put out. Eric is off this whole week so he has been destroying the house with the help of the cat. Thanksgiving is tomorrow and we are hosting Eric's parents for a small, safe holiday. But the house needs cleaned up and everything organized and a pie is currently baking in the oven. Toward the end of the workday, the news broke that the area where I live went to a Level 4 COVID alert. That is the highest level for Ohio which means "out of control spread, shelter at home" so definitely not great.

On the plus side, our friend Crued sent me a fun video over Twitter. The awesome folks at Loudwire put this countdown together, featuring the ten best rock star + Muppet moments. Wait until you get about 4 minutes in!

Free Bon Jovi Entertainment This Friday

Do you have plans Friday evening? You might want to watch the premiere of a new Bon Jovi concert film called On A Night Like This - Bon Jovi 2020. The film is about the band's new album called 2020 and how the pandemic impacted the release date, tour and even songs.

The film was shot in Nashville when the band was able to perform together after months of waiting. There were lots of safety protocols to make the filming happen and these are shown in the film. If you like Bon Jovi on Facebook, you can go to their official page and get a reminder for the premiere. It is set for this Friday night at 6:00 p.m. ET. The film will air on their Facebook page.
