The Art Of Guitar is back with a new video series! This time, he is counting down the 50 best hair metal guitar solos of all time. This list has Bon Jovi, Poison, Def Leppard and so many more. Sunday's Best: Week 8, 2022

Skid Row will release a new album this year and a new song will probably come out next month. That news is from guitarist Snake Sabo in a recent interview. The news that we are finally getting some new Skid Row tunes made me think back to some of the best live performances by Skid Row. That's our Sunday's Best for this week.

When Skid Row played Wembley Stadium in 1991, it was near magic. A huge crowd and then-vocalist Sebastian Bach was at his prime. "I Remember You" is still just about the best power ballad from the era... at least, in my opinion.

"Youth Gone Wild" at the Moscow Peace Festival, 1989. Bach himself commented on performing at this show when Russia attacked Ukraine overnight Thursday.

"Monkey Business" at Rocklahoma 2009, featuring then-vocalist Johnny Solinger (RIP). I remember this set really well - I was down front with Kari for it and it was about 100 degrees! I liked this song in particular because of the guitar solos.

Holy hell! I saw Gallogs comment and I had to look up the SNL performance. It is killer. I honestly don't remember seeing it before. I'm sure I probably have, but 1991 was a long time ago. This performance of "Monkey Business" is just straight, heavy rock. Amazing.

Dirty Honey Release Video For 'Another Last Time'

Dirty Honey released their self-titled debut last year and one of the songs on the album is "Another Last Time." The song is about toxic relationships. To go with the song, the band just released a very detailed video which features different plot lines. Bands usually don't make complex videos like this anymore - so this is a real treat.

Dee Snider Releases Video For 'Stand'

Recently, REELZ aired a documentary about the Station Nightclub fire. The movie followed the people who attended the show and how their lives - and the community of West Warwick, Rhode Island - was devastated by the tragedy. The focus of the film isn't solely on Great White. 

As a refresher, 100 people were killed and more than 200 injured during the blaze. The fire started after some of Great White's pyro went awry, sparking the acoustical foam and quickly burning through the club.

Dee Snider has a new album called Leave A Scar and "Stand" is one of the singles. The song features clips of the documentary. Snider hopes the song will shine some more light on the victims of the fire.

More Bands Added To Download Festival

Take a moment and share a positive thought for Ukraine today. What is happening there is just appalling - Vladimir Putin has no shame, but regular old Russians are going to be punished right along with him for his military actions. It's all such a shame.

Meanwhile, in the glam world, it seems like every day we get a new festival announcement or lineup update. Today, news that Download has added 14 more bands, including Steel Panther headlining the second stage. Download is set for June 10-12 at Donnington Park in the UK. That's just 105 days from now if you are counting down and yes, tickets are still available.

KISS, Judas Priest To Headline Aftershock Festival

First, is it poking the bear to name a festival held in California... Aftershock? Anyway, this fall's Aftershock festival will be headlined by Kiss, Judas Priest, Slipknot, My Chemical Romance, Foo Fighters, Shinedown and lots more. Other bands like Ice Nine Kills, Dirty Honey and Bullet for My Valentine will also perform. Tickets are available now. The fest takes place October 6, 7, 8, and 9 in Sacramento, California. A quick glance of tickets tells me that the 4-day GA pass is $460 with fees. VIP passes are also available.

New SteelHeart Video Coming

I was surprised to see the little notice below while doing my daily 15-minute Facebook doom scroll. Steelheart will release a Korean version of the song "Trust In Love." A preview of the video is below - it's very impressive and colorful.
