Not to be outdone by Katy Perry, Riley's LA Guns just released a new song and video for the track "The Dark Horse." It's available below. Also, here's a crazy fact: it's been 36 years since Steve Riley released new music!

Aerosmith Postpones 'Peace Out' Tour Until 2024

Apparently Steven Tyler's vocal cord injury was worse than first thought... and he even fractured his larynx. Who knew that was even possible from singing? See the announcement below. Sigh.

Crashdiet - 'Better Be Cool' -- New Song

This is kind of a nice surprise. My beloved Swedish rockers Crashdiet just released a new song called "Better Be Cool." The song was actually recorded a couple years ago. It didn't fit on any previous albums and so here we are. Hopefully this activity means more good things are coming from the band.

CJ Snare To Miss Some Firehouse Shows

Firehouse singer CJ Snare is ill and will need an abdominal surgery. He posted the news on his Facebook this morning. Some upcoming shows will continue with a fill-in singer but other gigs will be canceled. Pay attention to the band's socials for updates on those shows. I am interested to see who the band picks up to fill in that frontman slot.

So Much For That Rock n' Roll Super Bowl Halftime Show

The Super Bowl halftime show is just about the biggest televised music performance each year. There were dreams of a hard rock halftime show. The governor of Nevada was even pretty vocal about wanting AC/DC to perform. Las Vegas will host the Super Bowl in early 2024.

So instead of AC/DC, we get... Usher. It is what it is I guess.

Def Leppard Share Video For 'Take What You Want'

There are no rules surrounding music videos, albums or releases of either anymore. Def Leppard released the album Diamond Star Halos in 2022. One of the songs on that album is "Take What You Want." Now the band has released an official video for the track. It is comprised of live shots from The World Tour.

Honestly, the clip is a total mood. Long live rock n' roll! Long live stadium rock!
