Pop Evil Releases New Music

One of the modern bands my husband and I both love is Pop Evil. The band is releasing a self-titled album in February and have already released a video with the first single from their new album. The song is called "Walking Lions"

This band makes good music and does fun live shows, too. I've seen them live quite a few times and it is always a good time, so definitely check them out if you can.

New Music Monday: Beautiful Creatures

Beautiful Creatures just released a video for the song “Straight To Hell.” It's from the album Deuce Deluxe. Great if you love cartoons. Happy Monday. It's cold now in a lot of America - stay warm.

New Power Ballad Alert!

Lynch Mob just released The Brotherhood on September 8. One of the album tracks is "Miles Away," a 2017 version of a power ballad. It's good stuff, but most anything George Lynch touches is good, right? Watch and discuss.

Chester Bennington Concert Now Online

You can now watch the entire three-hour concert tribute to Chester Bennington online below. The concert took place last night at the Hollywood Bowl and marked the first time Linkin Park performed since Bennington's suicide over the summer. Monies raised from the show will benefit Music for Relief's One More Light Fund in memory of Bennington.

Performers include members of Korn, Bring Me the Horizon, Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down, Blink-182 and many more.

'Spit Out The Bone' Live

For the Metallica fans - pro-shot footage of the first time the band ever played "Spit Out The Bone" for a live audience. The song is from the new album Hardwired... to Self-Destruct. The performance took place in London on October 24. This is an amazingly impressive video, folks. I mean... heavy.

Farewell Fats Domino

Fats Domino died on Tuesday at his home in Harvey, La. He was 89. He was a legend in early rock n' roll and of course a fixture of the New Orleans music scene. Many of the rock bands we love were influenced by Fats Domino. Much respect to this legend. He will be missed.

Here is a lovely message from his family via Facebook:

'Where Did It Go?'

I'm back from a short vacation, spending a few days at Walt Disney World and enjoying the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and a Mickey Halloween party. We bought annual passes so we will pop down at least two more times before they expire. Basically, I wish I could live inside the World. Alas, on to the music:

My beloved Asking Alexandria has a new single out called "Where Did It Go?" It's from the upcoming, self-titled album due in December. I'm so down for this.
