Poison Release Tour Wrap Video

In case you missed Poison on tour this summer (I did), here's a 1-minute recap of all the fun. I suspect Poison will tour again next summer as well, but that's just a hunch. It would be nice if the band released a new song or two, but I've about given up on that dream.

This is the second release from Sweet & Lynch and it is a little different sound than what many might be expecting.

Ways To Help Texas Hurricane Victims

The other day I posted that Hurricane Harvey was likely to be worse than many of us could imagine. Sadly, it seems like I was right. The flooding in and around Houston is just horrific. That isn't even taking in to account the towns that were leveled by Hurricane Harvey's winds. Sadly, it is supposed to keep raining for days in Texas, making things worse.

Twitter is full of amazing images of average Americans doing amazing things to help their neighbors in need. The video from CNN below is very compelling as reporter Ed Lavandera and volunteer Austin Seth help rescue two elderly residents.

Then there's the clip of regular folks driving their boats down a busy street, looking for trapped residents.

If you are so inclined, you can help the victims of Hurricane Harvey by a simple text donation. The SMS donation is $10 so that's not much, but every bit helps and if we all donate, that's a nice chunk of change from the metal community.

Janet Gardner Releases New Video

This one is for the Vixen fans: Janet Gardner just released a video for her track "Rat Hole." The song is from her self-titled debut solo album, which came out last week. The song is not what I was expecting and I mean that in a good way!

'Girls, Girls, Girls' Lyric Video Released

We are facing catastrophic damage and flooding for days in coastal Texas because of Hurricane Harvey. If you're so inclined, you might consider donating a little money to the Red Cross for the relief efforts. I fear it's going to be really, really bad.

Now, on to the Saturday Glam: Motley Crue just released a new lyric video for "Girls, Girls, Girls." This is to celebrate the 30th anniversary reissue of that album. Did you buy it? Enjoy!

New Music Friday: Styx Edition

Styx has new music out! The band just released a lyric video for the song "Radio Silence" from The Mission.

This song is really good. Styx always releases solid music and this effort is no different. It's a great way to move into the weekend.
