Get Well Phil Mogg!

Phil Mogg, 74-year-old frontman of UFO suffered a heart attack recently. This was announced on social media earlier today. The band's upcoming October dates are canceled. It isn't clear how long the band will be off the road, but Mogg had surgery as a result of the attack and he will be down for sometime while he rehabs and recovers. I wish him well.

A Little More Nickelback News

An update to the Twitter tease I shared a few days ago: Nickelback will release the song "San Quentin" next week. The band tweeted an another apparent snippet of the song yesterday. They also filmed a video for "San Quentin" in Canada and invited fans to show up to get picked to be in the clip. The song will officially be released September 7 and the video a couple weeks after. A new album is expected in a few months.
