Awesome Live Motley Crue Video

I stumbled on an awesome old Motley Crue live clip last night! The Crue, performing "Live Wire" in Columbus, Ohio back in 1987. I think the clip was made at Buckeye Centre, but I could be wrong about that.

The thing that baffles me is that it looks like daylight and by 1987, Motley was a well-established act. Clearly headline material. Maybe this video was part of a festival - not sure. Obviously I wasn't at the show but if one of you was... please, fill us in on the details!

Jimbo!

I'm sure you can find someone to do it in the Boston area. You could look online but I would just make the rounds of some of the indy record stores up there (you've got a lot of good ones, like in Cambridge, etc., if that's near you).

I'm willin' to bet they know someone who can transfer it cheap for ya. I get stuff like this done in Naples, Florida at 15 bux a pop.

It's a guy who transfers old wedding videos and home movies. It's quite a cottage industry. You can go in the phone book and call local production companies that shoot weddings, etc, too.

If they can't do it, they'll more than likely give you the name of someone, as weddings usually involve some sort of video production incorporating old pictures and home movies, etc.

You could also buy the equipment and do it yourself, which would be worthwhile if you have a lot of this kinda stuff, which is awesome!

Hope this is helpful...

p.s. Of course, this is all in the hopes of getting a copy, too!, hahaha!!! Keep us posted through Allyson, if that's cool, to let us know how it goes.

p.s. Decline 2! Got that, too! Classic! It's amazing how they can't get this stuff out.
