The Download Festival Announcement Is Today

Download will make a "major announcement" today. Presumably it's the full lineup. Interestingly, a rumored poster leaked online over the weekend and it is below. I wonder just how accurate this poster is... all signs point to the bands being very legit. We'll see soon I guess.

Beyond the killer/bad @$$ song "Seventeen" I've always found Winger to be very embarrassing!
When I saw Crüe in 2010 (You can read my review of the show on this cite), they played "Stiff Competition" by Cheap Trick as the last song over the P.A. before they took the stage.
Also, Cheap Trick's second and third albums, "In Color" and "Heaven Tonight" are regarded as classics and are listed in Rolling Stone's "Top 500 Albums of All Time.
I don't know what planet you guys are from but Winger, as technically proficient as the may be, are the equivalent of nothing more than bell hops to any of the other bands listed above, albeit suit case juggling ones, with an analogous nod to their technical prowess.
And, HIM, you're on the bus. And I'll be sure to have Cheap Trick play the party, to boot! All I have to do is win The Lotto.
And thank you, Jakki, for explaining your position. It just goes to show that people experience bands--live and otherwise--in wildly different ways.
