NAMM Metal Jam Musicians Announced

Is anyone going to NAMM next month? I just released this little alert in my email inbox. Seems like a lot of fun and for a great cause, too!
December 15, 2014 - ANAHEIM, CA. -- Von Badsville & Neil Turbin Presents NAMM Metal Jam 2015 to benefit the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund and Dick Wagner’s Rockers for St. Jude. The 8th annual event will feature current/former members of Anthrax, Dio, DeathRiders, Alcatrazz, Arthemis, Great White, Exciter, Hurricane, Jon Oliva's Pain, Femme Fatale, Leatherwolf, Lizzy Borden, London, Lynch Mob, Nitro, Bleed The Hunger, Obituary, Savatage, Snow, Steel Prophet, Deicide, Talisman, Sabbath Judas Sabbath, The Iron Maidens and more. NAMM Metal Jam 2015 will be held on January 21, 2015, at The Slidebar Fullerton, only 5 miles from Anaheim Convention Center. Advance tickets are available for $15. And the list of people--a lot of people-- performing promises quite a few "sorta weres" and "might have beens." Not that I am knocking. Far more talent than I have to boast of and members all the same of some good bands. Likely a good time, at a good price point, for good causes.
Seriously, and regardless of what I think of Wendy Dio's handling of Dio's legacy in general, both _are_ good causes to throw support behind during the holidays.
If I lived in the area, I would catch the show . . . and the one that Toddwiggy noted.
Then, as you travel across the country attending concerts and festivals, you will finally . . . have . . . the . . . time . . . to . . . write . . . a . . . review.
But I hear you . . . time has a way of slipping right through our hands. Thank goodness a place like this exists. Slows things down and provides a space to catch a break.
