Saigon Kick, Morning Show Stars?

Phil Varone served as guest host on a Las Vegas morning show the other day. Seemed like a natural fit for the rest of Saigon Kick to stop by and perform "Love Is On The Way" for the viewers. Saigon Kick was in Vegas for a show at Vamp'd.

Varone always struck me as being am oily self-promoter, taking advantage of the meager gifts he was given and making a lot of hay out of things that would otherwise "never pass go" if not for those glints of the "big time" that he received (often, and usually, because of others).

Which is sad, because a band like SK is bigger than he is and deserves better than being crammed into the morning slot on account of Varone.

If karma were a predictable thing, he'd be doing the early show in Sparks on a cable access station. Varone is--and let the import of this sink in--like Sixx without a filter, or a measure of empathy, or the ability to at least craft fascinating "true" stories.
