I Don't Get Super Bowl Halftime From This

A lot of people took the tweet below to mean Motley Crue would be appearing during the Super Bowl halftime show. Instead, I take it that Motley will appear in a Mr. Peanut commercial during the big game. Also, the official Mr. Peanut account kept replying to this. Heck we might get the trailer for The Dirt during the Super Bowl too. We'll see I guess.

Whatever it ends up being, it will help to draw a limited number of eyeballs to their Netflix masterpiece.

I really want to discuss the Mr. Peanut angle. But, alas, I am keeping to my promise.

@Him concerning the “Mr Peanut angle” I’m pretty sure we share a brain sometimes. My mind immediately flooded with about 50 jokes at once.😂😂😂.

The Dirt trailer/new music? Eventually. Song in an ad? Most likely.
I dont see them performing in the Superbowl at all, but I do think somewhere down the road they will do either a tour, residency, or select shows.

Friends share, Gary. So I think we are, at this point, friends. Enough said!

What your getting is Imagine Dragons with Lil’ Wayne.

What the h*ll is going on! Why didn’t they get Guns N’ Roses with a guest appearance of Angus Young on a couple of AC/DC songs thrown into the set.

NOW that would be something EVERYONE would LOVE to see!!!

I know a lot of people (not friends, mind you!) who love Imogene Coca. But that is beside the point, right?

I would love to trade their song "Thunder" for Prince's song of the same name. Alas, he didn't mine some of his last really great material when he appeared. Hell, I'd even take a reformed White Lion doing "Lights and Thunder."

I'd also trade Lil' Wayne for the Newton variety. Then again, I don't give a fig about the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Sports not supplying music we love? Whaaaa?!?!
