Iron Maiden is back and on the road. The Book Of Souls world tour kicked off Wednesday night in Florida. Iron Maiden is a band I've still never seen live. Maybe someday. For now, check out this amazing show opening video. This must have cost a fortune.

So I finally saw Maiden last night, for my very first time. Was never really huge fan of the band but always thought they had some strong material. Anyway, as an old school metalhead, I knew it was my time to go see em before it was too late. When I got to Riverbend, there was not a single scalper anywhere to be found. I started to stress a little but then was told that the box office would have tickets. So for $35 I was able to get a lawn ticket. Usually, my days in the lawn are long past but since I wasn’t a huge fan, I wanted to take the cheap route. As we found a spot to stand, Maiden hit the stage! Aces High was the tune and Bruce & the boys sounded better than they do on the record. The raucous crowd was absolutely packed and it mayve ended up even being a sell out. Everyone seemed to be feeling the tunes and the aroma of gas was forming clouds over our heads as the cold beer was flowing strongly as ever. Around 2 hrs later, they were wrapping up with the epic Run To The Hills. Gotta say, they were awesome! My highlights of the night were Hallowed Be Thy Name & The Evil That Men Do. When we were walking out, after I had popped for the $45 t shirt, I knew from then on out, that I was on the Iron Maiden bandwagon & I had wasted a lot of years. Have no fear... I will make up! Long live Eddie. 🤘🏼

Indy for me as well. Up the Irons! Will be very happy to hear all the classics vs. the last tour when they played almost the entire new album.

I confess, I really used to hate on these guys here but now, after much chiding from one of my buddies who says they’re incredible live, I really want to see ‘em!

Doesn’t mean I will, but I really want to!
