Joe Elliott Turns 60

Joe Elliott of Def Leppard just turned 60. He celebrated on stage in Calgary. It must be cool to have 60,000 people sing "Happy Birthday!" to you. Now imagine being a rockstar nearly your entire life. Also very cool. Def Leppard is one of the hardest working bands on the road these days. Good for them.

Happy birthday Joe.
And that includes millions of millennials (and younger!) who have them on their digital playlists.
Personally, I’ll take “Photograph”, which, along with RATT’s “Round and Round”, are, in my mind, the two most iconic anthems of 80’s Hair Metal!
p.s. Humbly disagree with you, BK (as you say, it’s all just opinions) but I believe their last album, the eponymous “Def Leppard” from 2015, is actually stronger than “Euphoria”. And that’s pretty much based on just one track alone, “Dangerous”, which is vastly superior to anything off “Euphoria”, and their best song since as far back as “Let’s Get Rocked”, from 1992’s “Adrenalize”. RIP, Steve Clarke, who Def Leppard might as well as named their record label, “Bludgeon Riffola”, after.
“Bludgeon Riffola” ... I wonder who came up with that? Now there’s a great interview question to ask Elliott!
