Remember When I Said 'Keep An Eye On Coachella?'

Welp, keep watching.
Scoop: A source familiar with the arrangements tells me that the Coachella festival will be postponed due to Coronavirus concerns and moved to the weekends of October 9 and 16.

As of now, the same lineup is confirmed to perform.
Update. Coachella in April is canceled.

Hoping the Crue Stadium Tour and the Rammstein Stadium Tour still happen as I'm really looking forward to them.
Also curious if this keeps going if the biggest event in my hometown - the Kentucky Derby - is at risk? It's 170K people, outdoors, on May 2nd. Fingers crossed.
I'm just joking everyone. But I suspect more events will be cancelled and/or restricted as the days roll on. University athletic events? Check. The NBA? Check. Tennis events? Check. The XFL. Oh wait, that last one has nothing to do with COVID-19.
Sure, some of it is clear corporate calculation. And some of it is actual concern. I know not everyone thinks this is something to worry about. And I won't soapbox my previous comments. I am just saying . . . most will be fine with this, others won't. And to think you are well and good is one thing. Giving it to another person who isn't so lucky is another. Again, caution mixed with common sense (which was hard to type, as the tissue-boxes on my hands make typing difficult). Allyons's initial post still rings true.
And to think: I was looking forward to going to Las Vegas, catching the buffet at the Bellagio, and then going to see DLR in a cramped venue like the HoB. What's not to like?
I'm lucky though. I bought some cute baby Chinese bats on Amazon to look after. They are so small. They love to curl up on your lap, making these little coughing sounds. Makes me laugh every time!!!
“I love me some scabs, even if I only pick a few a year.”
Oh, the Comedy ...
And especially at the end when we witness you finally make that turn we’ve all been waiting for from semi-lucid to the truly Gonzo commentor (wait, is that a word? It is NOW!!!) we sense has been inside you all along.
Now, onto the topic at hand ...
Let’s just think about the last time Coachella was any good ... Spotty, at best, after The Damned and Guns N’ Roses joined by Angus Young all wound up on the same bill only a mere four years ago.
Since then, it’s just been great pop and alternative filling the bill since until what was supposed to be just now when Ozzy was set to be a headliner. His new album, “Ordinary Man”, rocks heavily on certain tracks such as his pair of “duets” with Post Malone, etc.
How cool would it have been to see Ozzy and Malone sharing the stage to belt out “It’s A Rage” ... alas, it will be a couple more months of uncertainty and cancellations until the warm weather of Summer boils it out of us.
Let us pray to The Metal Godz things get completely better way before that ...
I, too, hope that the warmer months bring some return to normalcy. In fact, the idea of spending a night out with my friends, on the lawn at Shoreline, enjoying a so-so show makes me smile right now.
I hope everyone is healthy and happy. Focus on the future, but take care of yourselves today.
