Not Going To Concerts Sucks, But...

Look everything about 2020 basically sucks. Covid-19 has destroyed the joy in most everything... but I cannot imagine risking my life to see Smash Mouth of all bands. The Sturgis Rally happened with thousands of patrons, most not wearing masks. At least it was all outdoors. Plenty of bands performed at the famous biker rally, but of course Smash Mouth had to mock Covid-19, as if the disease is a "hoax." It isn't.

Of all the bands I need to see live right now, Smash Mouth is not one of them.

I didn't see the clip where is said it was a "hoax", and yeah who doesn't want to give covid the middle finger. Everyone is tired of it, i don't think it implies ignorance. If so, blame them all for even being there.

Kids let's not call each other names and make assumptions about each other's personal lives. That's not gonna solve anything other than making this place less fun.

Stirgs 2020 is hapoenong because the politicalns were paid off by organizers. Its irresponsible all around, especially for those of us who can't be out there putting on shows because of this pandemic.

Of course the bands are not directly responsible for this large gathering, but their lack of caution or care does not paint them in the bast light.

"Fuck Covid" sounds stupid and could easily be replaced with "stay safe out there" or "I know it's wierd keeping your distance at a rock show but let's have a good time anyways".

All of that being said, we are here to talk music... Can we all at least agree that Smashmouth is a terrible band who lucked out with 2 novelty hits 20 years ago?
