Feels Like Yesterday

Today marks 34 years since Extreme released "More Than Words" as a single. A truly great song that changed the trajectory of the band.

Also, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt looks beautiful in the video. I suspect this clip is what made him a heartthrob back in the early 90s. Metal Edge loved to share posters of him!

I’ve spoken about this probably one too many times on here, but I saw this very song performed point blank at The Cat Club in NYC when they were at the top of their game.

Unfortunately, it happened in the moments following a virtually unknown Alice In Chains who, moments before, had quite simply blown the roof off the place, leaving Extreme in the dust.

as much as i love this band, i never really cared for this song. glad it was a hit for them, but i’ll never choose to hear it again.
