If I Lived In Los Angeles...

I'm a vegetarian. I've been a non-meat eater for over two decades now. This doesn't preclude me from wanting to hang out at the famous Canter's Deli in Los Angeles. Marc Canter was a young photographer and best bud with Slash. So Marc watched GnR form and get famous and of course the band hung out at Canter's Deli. Well, now the deli is hosting an exhibit of the band's photos over the years. This is very cool. Wish I could see it.

Mini RATT 'Reunion' Sparks Questions

Three original members of RATT reunited over the weekend for Lonn Friend's birthday party out in California. Stephen Pearcy, Warren DeMartini and Juan Croucier were joined by Carlos Cavazo and drummer Greg D’Angelo for the night. (D'Angelo plays with Pearcy's solo band). Now, does this mean a reunion (without Bobby Blotzer) is coming soon? Perhaps. Or maybe this was nothing at all except some guys getting together for cake. Thoughts? Before Motley Crue, There Was Whitehorse

Before he was in Motley Crue, Mick Mars was in a band called Whitehorse. Some old audio clips and photos of that band's performances have been popping up on YouTube lately. Here's Whitehorse doing a cover of "Blowin' Free" way back in 1974. Very cool, vintage stuff for a Monday.
